The Ford Fusion Hybrid was the 2010 North American Car of the Year, while the Ford Transit Connect was the 2010 North American Truck of the Year. The three car finalists beat out such contenders as the Audi A8, Buick Regal, Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Fiesta, Infiniti M37/56, Jaguar XJ, Kia Optima, Mazda 2, Nissan Juke, Volkswagen Jetta and Volvo S60.
